3. How can I help my child stay focused and behave?

Parents and kids share this concern. Parents want their child to improve in the area of focus and behavior and in the same way, kids want to have more focus and improve their behavior. Knowing you both have this in common can help you work together towards this common goal.

Parents, I hear that you notice your child struggling. You want them to take care of their business, and get it done without feeling overwhelmed. You want them to stop shutting down. It’s your wish to have obedient and respectful children. Many of you noticed that when it’s time to focus, your child deliberately choses to play and avoid their work.

Many kids have also told me they want to stop being distracted and learn to stay focused. But with so much change they have lost motiviation. Learning has been a big challenge for many kids today. Being in school online/hybrid/with social distancing is brand new as well. If these things is a challenge for your family, these resources are for you.
